What is included in the recurring trial?
The Today queue, Client record, document register, proposals,
recurring work, time log, cash scenarios and reviewed reminder
workflow. No card is required for 30 days.
When can SHVL send a reminder?
Connecting an account never starts sending. Reminders can be
delivered only after you connect Microsoft 365, Outlook.com or
Hotmail, review the wording and activate the schedule. Your
organisation's Microsoft consent policy may require administrator
approval. Recorded payment is checked before sending. Microsoft also checks matched replies and bounces; Gmail is send-only and needs manual reply review.
Is this legal advice?
No. SHVL provides templates and calculations based on the statutory
late-payment rules. You or your adviser should review the output
before sending.
Can you check my CSV before I pay?
Yes. Send a redacted sample row to hello@shvl.app and we will
sanity-check the format before you pay.
Where does the data live?
Recurring workspace data is stored in SHVL's Cloudflare-hosted
service. Accounting and mailbox access tokens are encrypted at
rest. For the chase pack, your CSV is processed to generate the ZIP
and is not retained. Read the full data flow.
Are the accounting connections live?
The workspace reads synced invoice and contact data. The SHVL CLI requests Profit and Loss,
Balance Sheet and Trial Balance reports live from Xero. Draft preparation is separate: invoices,
quotes, supplier bills and purchase orders remain DRAFT, require typed confirmation and are never posted, authorised or sent automatically.
Why use SHVL instead of Xero reminders?
Xero's fixed reminder schedule may be enough for straightforward chasing. SHVL adds a reviewed queue
for exceptions, client documents and work records, plus live reports and draft preparation through the
CLI. You still review each external step.
